Hey testers! We are releasing a guide on how to receive testnet tokens to be able to take part in the NFTY Finance testnet release. We recommend using a Metamask wallet for these purposes as the guide was written based on that. Make sure you swap your wallet over to the Goerli test network before beginning.

How to Swap to Goerli Test Network (Metamask)
At the top of your Metamask wallet extension, you will see a clickable dropdown bar. Click this bar to dropdown a list of test networks that are automatically listed. Among this list is the “Goerli test network.” Select this network to proceed to the next steps of receiving your testnet tokens and testing the NFTY Finance product.
How to Receive Testnet ETH
Please visit https://goerlifaucet.com to obtain your testnet ETH. After you have navigated to the site, follow the steps below.
- Sign-up for an account
- Input your wallet address in the respective field
- Click the button titled “Send Me ETH”
NOTE: You can only do this once every 24 hours and will only receive .2 ETH each time, but this should be more than enough to cover all testing fees.
How to Receive Testnet USDC
Please visit https://usdcfaucet.com/ to obtain your test USDC. After you have navigated to the site, follow the steps below.
- Click the “ETH” button to ensure you are on the Ethereum chain and will receive the correct version of USDC
- Input your wallet address in the respective field
- Complete the captcha
- Click the submit button
- Manually import the token address to ensure the NFTY Finance platform will register your token (The token contract address can be found below)

NOTE: Users must have at least $40 in USDC in order to create a liquidity shop.
How to Receive Testnet NFTY Tokens and Testnet NFTs
Please visit https://faucet.nfty.finance/ to obtain your testnet NFTY tokens and testnet NFTs. After you have navigated to the site, follow the steps below.
- Connect your wallet
- Click the “Claim Testnet NFTY” and “Claim Testnet NFTs” buttons
- Manually import both of the token addresses to ensure the NFTY Finance platform will register your tokens (Both of the token contract address can be found below)

Borrowing
Woohoo! You now have all the test tokens required to hop into the product and test things out. First up, we will cover the borrowing portion. For this instance we have created an official shop for users to navigate to and request a loan.
The official borrowing shop can be found here:
Step 1
First, navigate to the “Borrow” button on the left side of NFTY Finance. You will see a few liquidity shops to explore, but we want to navigate to the “Goerli NFTs” shop. Click on the “Goerli NFTs” to open the liquidity shops tied to the testnet NFTs.
Step 2
After navigating to the “Goerli NFTs” liquidity shops, you will come across a few shops already created. You should notice the “Official Test Shop” that we mentioned above. Click on this shop to continue to the next step.
Step 3
Now that you are inside the “Official Test Shop,” you can begin to request a borrow. First, choose your NFT collection and the amount to borrow.
Note: The max borrow amount on this shop is .1 USDC for testing purposes.
Step 4
Finally, you will be able to choose your ideal loan duration and accept the terms and conditions. From there the “Request Loan” button will light up and you can request your first loan!
Note: It takes a few moments for the transaction messages to go through due to the Goerli testnet being a little slow, so don’t be alarmed if it doesn’t go through instantly.
And there you go!
You have requested your first loan on NFTY Finance. It will pop up on our profile page under the “Pending Approvals” tab. Now let’s hop into setting up a test liquidity shop!
Lending
Opening a liquidity shop on NFTY Finance is a simple process and only takes a brief moment. Opening a shop will also require you to have went through all the above steps to have received all of the test tokens.
With that, let’s dive in!
Step 1
First, navigate to the “Lend” button on the left side of NFTY Finance. This first step just requires you to enter your desired shop name. After you have chosen a name, click “Next.”
From there, you will come to a page having you select your NFT collection related to your liquidity shop, as well as the max borrow users can request against your shop. For this instance on testnet, select the “Goerli NFTs.”
Step 3
Next up you will choose which coin your shop will support and the max amount a user can borrow. Select the “USD Coin” option, and insert an amount.
Note: You can choose any amount of USDC as long as you possess that amount within your wallet. We recommend .1 USDC for testing purposes.
Step 4
Finally, you will select the shop amount which is the full amount you are depositing into your liquidity shop. Next, choose your interest rates for 30, 60, and 90 days, and then click the “Next” button. From here you will sign a few transactions to initiate the creation of your liquidity shop.
Note: $40 USDC is the minimum amount needed to open a liquidity shop.

And just like that!
You have opened your first liquidity shop on NFTY Finance. Users will now be able to request loans against your shop. All of these loans will appear in your “Pending Approval” tab in your dashboard.
