Earlier this week, NFTY Finance had a big rebrand to a sleek new logo that represents building in a new and thriving NFT DeFi ecosystem. On top of that, official documentation was released in the form of the brand new Gitbook that walks through all of the differing aspects of NFTY Finance, as well as an FAQ section helping answer some of the most common questions.
But we know why you’re really here, and we can confirm that NFTY Finance is now live on testnet!
It’s been a long time coming, but we are beyond excited to get the first iteration of NFTY Finance for users to test and help us improve and build upon ahead of the mainnet launch. We can’t give any formal specifics on mainnet timelines, but we will be giving formal updates throughout the testnet phase so the community can stay up-to-date on the latest NFTY Finance news.
With all of that said, below you will find a bunch of sections regarding the testnet release of NFTY Finance including a list of known issues, how to report issues or provide feedback, the launch of the community quests, and what’s next. Let’s dive in!
List of Known Issues
Below you will find a list of a majority of the major issues the development team is aware of and actively working to fix. Most of these issues are related to the DApp and the backend features and not the smart contracts due to most of the initial development being focused on creating secure and stable versions of the smart contracts.
● Fix loan list layout (NL-30 NL-199)
○ The loan activity and pending approval tabs on profiles show a scroll in every column, this has to be adjusted so all of the information is displayed properly.
○ The table shows all the interests of the shop instead of the one selected on each loan .
● Long names are wrongly displayed (NL-158)
○ When creating a new shop with a long name, the lists of shops shows them incorrectly.
● Paid loans are shown on the active loans list (NL-194)
○ There is no section for paid but not yet expired loans, so the active loans section also shows those that are already paid.
● Error messages do not communicate information correctly (NL-161)
○ Some error messages show a lot of irrelevant information. This has to be changed to a shorter clearer message for the user.
● Disconnect (NL-12)
○ When trying to reconnect a wallet the pop-up to select a wallet should appear again, instead of just reconnecting to the last wallet used.
● Replenish Balance Permit alphanumeric data (NL-178)
○ The replenish form should only allow positive numeric values.
● Incorrect amount format on the list of loans (NL-192)
○ In the list of loans for approval, the amount shown incorrectly assumes 18 decimals when formatting.
● Collection name is not being shown in shop details when creating a loan nor in loan activity (NL-195)
○ The collection name on shop details, loan activity, and pending approval sections is not being displayed and is instead showing ‘Unknown Collection.’
● “View Shop” button, displayed after successfully creating a liquidity shop, is leading to the general dashboard (NL-201)
○ After creating a new liquidity shop the ‘View Shop’ button should lead to ‘Shop Details.’
● Some visual fixes
○ Depending on the screen resolution used some elements might overlap with each other.
○ The DApp should adjust collection images on the list of collections to fit into the card.
● When trying to access the ‘Manage Shop’ section (by accessing the profile URL directly, instead of passing through home page first) while being disconnected the DApp crashes
Support System — Tickets
With a testnet launch comes potential issues, bugs, or errors that could arise when using the product. To ensure we can build the best version of NFTY Finance as possible come mainnet release, we would love to hear any feedback or receive all reports related to issues that might occur when testing the product.
Our Discord houses the support ticket feature in a specific channel that will allow you to open a ticket and include any information pertaining to a feedback or issue report. Below you will find a link that will directly deliver you to the “support-ticket” channel within the NFTY Finance Discord.
Note: As you enter the channel, click on the “Create Ticket” button. A new ticket will appear on the left side on the channel list that will apear directly under the “support-ticket” channel. Please include any information regarding any feedback or issues, and a member of the NFTY team will get to you promptly!
Community Quests
Along with the testnet launch of NFTY Finance, we are also launching a community questing board to reward users that engage within the NFTY community and help spread the word. Below you will find the link to the Crew3 NFTY Finance community where you can see all currently available quests to complete and how much xp they provide, the leaderboard rankings to see where you stand among all NFTY community members, and of course the reward which will encompass a big NFTY token airdrop.
But this is just the beginning. You will be able to look forward to bigger and more in-depth quests and systems that will allow us to reward all of the community members that want to help NFTY grow!
What’s next?
In the coming week(s) we will be making quick improvements to the testnet version of NFTY Finance including improved UI/UX, fixes for all known issues, and testnet tokens to allow our community and those interested to test the product and the liquidity shop features fully.
Also, as we mentioned the smart contracts are completed, we will be undergoing our official audits to confirm everything is stable and secure. We want to appreciate everyone for being apart of the NFTY journey as we are just getting started!
