NFTY Labs Technical Update
We’re excited to share with you the latest on NFTYConnect!
We’ve been striving to keep the site updated with new and improved visuals as well as features as often as possible. With our latest update to NFTYConnect that just hit live servers, quite a few larger additions were added that help make the overall product a whole lot better. Let’s dive into the list!
Dark Mode is Finally Here
Dark mode is always a top priority for any website, and we can finally say that dark mode has arrived at NFTYConnect. Make sure to give it a try, and let us know what you think.
Names with Spaces
While this isn’t the biggest, it was definitely a requested feature. Users can now put a space in between their profile name (ex: JohnDoe to John Doe).
Editing Token Gates
Gone are the frustrating days of having to delete token gates due to messing up a single field within the creation process. Now, after a user creates their token gate, they can check in their dashboard to see an edit option in the bottom left of each gate, making it super easy to update or change how a gate works.
Private Token Gates
With the latest update, we had to figure out a way to keep testing token gates from crowding up the “Explore Token Gates” page. With this latest update, users now have the option to list a token gate as private on their dashboard. Just find the token gate you want to keep private on your dashboard and click the option at the bottom right on the card to delist it from public view.
Note: This still allows users to test the gate by sharing the link with others.
Improved Wallet Login Screen & Options
With the wallet screen receiving a visual update, it finally marks the end of screens needing revised visuals. The new and improved screen not only looks better, but we made sure to pack in a few extra things with additional wallet options being added with Portis, Torus, Fortmatic, and Authereum joining the party. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for more options in the future!
Bugs & UI Fixes
It wouldn’t be an update if it didn’t bring some fixes to annoying bugs and UI mishaps. Minor UI additions were added in this update to help users with creating token gates. Updated “how-tos” were added within the token gate creation page for Discord and Telegram gates, as well as some updates to the arrangement of the token gate creation form to help clear up some edge cases.
When it comes to bugs, we are working effortlessly to ensure every bug isn’t left unattended to. Many bugs that were fixed were tied to the authentication side, leaving the token gate joining being a much more fleshed out process! One key bug was fixed within the WAX chain side that caused some fuss when holding one too many WAX NFTs. Now that it’s cleared up, WAX token gate users can hold as many WAX NFTs as they like!
That wraps up our newest update to NFTYConnect, and we look forward to many more to come. Stay tuned for future updates!
